I find it amazing that when compared to TL SH-AWD the same length and weight carries a WB 139 mm longer; a cargo space twice the size (before
folding the seats for some 1300+ l. ) and engine produces 325 lb-ft torque by 2900 rpms vs. 273 at 5,000 rpms (3.0 l. vs. 3.7 l. normally aspirited).
It seems packaging and use of supercharger gives Audi such an advantage. The MT in the TL is nice but
not a deal breaker.
I may be unusual cross-shopping these two but the S4 is just too small for four adults to go cross country.
