As many of you know I am a huge Corvette fan. This past weekend my wife and I were in Saint Augustine and Palm Coast Florida for a Wedding. We had to rent a car and so I figured why not pony up for a Hertz ZHZ convertible Vette for 4 days - seemed like a great location to drive around in style.
I have previously driven the 505HP ZO6, but not for any real amount of time. This was my first time living with a Vette.
Because the issue will come up - yes, the interior is sub-par. Worse than my WRX. But it doesn't matter. The car is very comfortable and you could literally drive it across the country no problem. The trunk (with the top up) could handle both of our suitcases (just barely).
Will probably write more about the driving when I have more time - but the car is a dream to drive. Makes all the right sounds (love the butterfly valves @ 3500RPM), and I've fallen in love with throttle over steer. The handling is very good, chassis is solid. Car has 436 HP, so obviously it went like stink and I pretty much drove the crap outta it. Unfortunately it was a slushbox, which really, is terrible.

PS, Saint Augustine is gorgeous
