This was on Twitter. This is the next Dodge Durango. Same platform as the Jeep.

A vehicle getting smaller for the next generation?!?!  Shocked  I still don't get (and neither does Chrysler) why there is a need for two nearly identical products.

I would guess this is the last dregs of the old management before the Fiat boys take over.

It looks better as a Jeep from the looks of it (and I'm able to see through the obvious quality differences).  The Jeep design looks well put together while the Dodge one makes less sense.  These two are so similar it's just badge engineering from at least the looks of things. At least the Equinox and Terrain significantly differ in styling to justify that duplication.

Looks good and will really compete with its corporate kin-  the Jeep. They say this will be out in the last quarter of this year. How about the Jeep GJ - anyone seen any of those on the road yet? I'm sure the dealers will be very happy to see either one and create some traffic.

Question: Is the Jeep meant to be a more up-market version of this vehicle?  The Dodge just doesn't have the same refined look (I can't believe I said that about a Jeep!).

I shall remember that for the rest of you're life and shall use it against you.  Tongue
