Pontiac Montana - Horn Beeping When Locking

My father has a Pontiac Montana, either 06 or 07.  With my car if you press the lock button once  it locks the car with no beeping. If you press it twice then it locks and beeps once.  My father’s van each time you press the lock button it beeps 2-3 times which is very annoying.

Is this something that can be easily changed?
