Look what I stumbled across.  What a beauty in mint condition.  :o Not even that unreasonable of a price.

Yeah, I believe 1965 was the last year and the SC was the most powerful.  Just under 100HP I think.

Gorgeous Original Car !!! This Restored Beauty Must Be Seen

It looks nice, but a "restored" car is not an "original" car. Has it been repainted and how much of it has been restored?

And based on all that chrome :nono: in the engine compartment, the owner must he a Harley owner.
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

A true driver's car does not have cup holders.

:rofl2: I was thinking the same thing!

Although new paint if it was in the original colour wouldn't bother me too much, as long as it was professionally done.  I'd rather the car had been driven through it's life rather than babied.  Cars are like sheepdogs, nothing worse for them if they can't do what they are supposed to do.

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

As long as it was over original paint and not over patches and body filler.

Back then and even much later, those cars had very little rust protection. If driven on sunny summer days only equates to babied, then I would want a babied car.

Based on what I saw, especially in the engine compartment (many non-original items, etc), at $49K...he is dreaming unless he finds a sucker of a customer.

If the body is all metal and the floor is solid (not patchwork) and the interior is as good as the pics look, he'll get it.  Ditching the chrome in the engine bay is easy.  Building a no-bondo, full floor car with a restored interior is ridiculously expensive.
