That looks like my previous car.  I had an '88 Audi A90.  Money pit for quite a few years, but I loved her all the same.  She was a tank.   

Very similar car, same platform.   My somewhat daily driver is also an Audi 90 quattro 20-valve.  I can imagine they could cost a pretty penny if you had to pay for service.
