Julie, she's no racehorse, but is pretty quick of the line, and extremely agile - perfect for big city driving.

Interesting parking technique. Are the cars in the photo all on the sidewalk?

Pretty standard in this part of town - I mis-judged and got too many wheels on the side walk. Should be half on/half off.

Thats the mk2 face-lift version. I had MK1 in Spain. Handling was terrible. The MK2 was much better, quieter and comfortable. I drove a rental Mk2 and was surprised at the differences.

THey still make this version, and sell it as either the Clio Storia or Clio Campus, depending on the market., as a cheap  entry-level car, which makes you wonder about competing with the Twingo and the Dacia products...

Not planning any long distance trips in the Clio.  It's a great city car, but I think I will be renting the Grand Cherokee from the Embassy for longer road trips, although most trips I take out of Belgrade will be on an airplane...

Well, due to a dead battery in the Cherokee, I drove the Clio to Vienna last weekend.  From Belgrade to Budapest, and then on to Austria.  On the way home we went through Slovenia and Croatia.  All in all about 1500km.  The Clio was a real trooper, easily cruising at 130km/h, and getting about 7l/100km at the same time.  I was really impressed.
