$0 interior repair on my Lada Niva

This is what my interior looked when I got it (after a few hours of cleaning mind you). Missing bits, switches and a mess of wires.

Added a Triumph Spitfire headlight switch, some scrap sheet metal and a little paint I added the panel around the heater controls. And that panel below the heater controls? I created that with some misc early Niva interior plastic, some wood wall paneling, and some random switches (one from a 70s Mini and other two are just old parts store ones I had in stash). The wood grain give it a bit of class eh? :) No out of pocket expenses so far on the interior. I know its not perfect but its functional now! Floor mats added from the 1991 Niva as well. Still have to re-hook up the wires but very close.

Love the push start!   :)

Actually that is the hazard lights - oddly the key start is on the other side of the steering wheel.

I think we should all chip in a buy Arthur a Russian fur cap (made of Nutria of course...) for whenever he drives the Niva!

Do you realize that in about 40 years, we'll have thousands of old ladies running around with tattoos?

That is an awesome idea - I'll be hitting the second hand shops to see if I can find!

I've got a rabbit fur hat that would fit the bill. But I'm never letting it go, sorry Arthur! ;D

Here's a link. Only $29.95 and worth every penny.
