If I may suggest....MEC sells those bicycle air horns that you pump up by a floor pump. They work really well on dogs with their sensitive ears.

Nice formula

You touched on one of my pet peeves, people that DO NOT tie up their dogs. A friend on the weekend just hit a dog. Lucky for her she was in the car...not so lucky for the dog.

Why would you not tie up your dog? Same with when you put them in your car. If you can't love your pet, don't get one.
