My buddy was telling me he got similar mileage (30L/100km) pulling a trailer with his 3/4 Suburban with the 8.1L (496 ci) on the weekend. Yikes. Your day looks to be more fun.

Interesting post, Wing.  I also used to be amazed at the consumption of fuel when I raced the Supra.  On high boost in full "kill mode", I could burn 5 gallons of VP Import (or C16) @ $15 a gallon in a weekend.  And that's only approximately 4-6km total for the weekend.    :o
