Bye bye Passat....hello Golf !

Recently said goodbye to the Passat and welcomed another VW to the family....

It's a 2.5 Golf complete with 5 cylinders (don't ask me why) and with manual transmission. I got it in the Highline trim. Had it about a month now - very enjoyable to drive, and this is coming from someone who returned to stick transmission after 10 years.

Sweet!

We can't get the Golf 2.5L with five doors and a MT here in the States.  Shame, because it's a nice combination of affordability, practicality, and driver involvement.

So you can now get leather without HID on the Golf 2.5?
Or is HID even available?

Fantastic choice! I just can't get over how nice the Golf interior is. And those wheels look great.  :thumbup:

What year was your Passat? I almost bought a new Passat wagon back in '99.
