OMG....this is too funny!  Since I had a set of mint (and sorta rare) colored (liquid graphite) IS350 wheels, I decided to trade them for regular IS350 wheels since the IS might see some winter duty.  It would be a shame to ruin the mint wheels, so I decided to swap them for some rougher ones plus $$$ on their end.  I'll use the wheels plus a set of winters.  I have a set of summer wheels coming.  Anyways, my only stipulation was to have some "new" tires on the old wheels, since I will have to use these until my new summer wheels come in.

Well I got my traded wheels..and low and behold they are shod with new Hercules Raptis WR1 tires!!! Just thought I'd share for everyone's amusement...

You know, I'd forgotten about how they were good for people looking for a "smooth,no bump ride".

Of course,I imagine you only get the smooth no bump ride when you set the pressure correctly...... and we all know how hard it is to establish what exactly is the correct pressure!   ;D

I too somehow ended up with a set of Hercules tires a couple of years ago.  All I can say is that the pressures seem to "self-adjust" for that no-bump ride. 
I took to carrying along a compressor for random inflations.

They weren't horrible in the autocross....
