That's funny, I own that very same saw, works great ^

I agree with most sentiments about a work truck, mine is very basic, but does have an automatic.  I spill less coffee with an automatic truck.

A friend of mine has that model of truck, 3.9L, 5spd tranny.  I would consider the tranny the single best part of that truck.  You know the old manual school buses and the transmission whine they would emit?  That's what comes out of these trucks.  The tranny has MASSIVE gears in it that love to whine.  It's absolutely fantastic for those of use who like the basic, visceral automotive experience.  Also, it just sounds like durability!!!  Love them.

Never driven a school bus, but rode in lots. Had to bus to the next town for schooingl because the town I grew up in did not have a high school.

I am used to shift with BMWs and the Mazda RX-8, the Dodge truck is nothing like that.  :) Took a few drives to get comfortable with it.
