Revolutionary.  There, I said it!  Almost too good to be true.  It's 2am in the morning, and I just got done using the most amazing, revolutionary car product I've ever used.  And I used it on 4 different cars just to be sure.  It will forever change the way I wash my cars.  It's THAT good.  What is it?  It's Optimum No Rinse (ONR).  I was VERY, very, very very skeptical of such a product.  A car wash that you don't rinse off?  That you don't need a water hose for?  It sounds impossible..or a recipe for marring, swirling and ruining you paint!  So I read the car detailing websites where most of the members have OCD in regards to detailing their cars.  And they all love it.  So it must work.....

Well it DOES work...and amazingly at that.  And it's simple to use.  Get 2 buckets of water.  Put 2 gallons of water in each.  One bucket is your "wash" bucket, the other is the "rinse" bucket. Put 2 capfuls of ONR in one bucket. Use a microfiber wash mitt.  Soak wash mitt and wring out excess solution.  Wash a panel of your car.  No need to press real hard, just let the mitt do the work.  When done, just use a microfiber drying towel to dry that section off.  Rinse wash mitt in rinse bucket and repeat for rest of car.  Easy.

I know...it sounds like it could put swirls or scratch the paint.  But somehow, it doesn't. The dirt gets suspended above the paint, and wipes off.  Even better, the dried surface is VERY slick.  Almost like it's been waxed.  I'm a believer.  I doubt I will ever use a hose to wash my car again.  So much so that after my first wash, I went ahead and ordered 32 oz. of this stuff..since I was using trial samples.

But I think this product is THE answer for people who live in apartments, or condos or people who just don't have access to a hose.  Wash it right in your parking spot.  I haven't used it in full sun, but since you wash and dry as you go, I don't think you'd have an issue.

So go ahead and try this stuff!  And if you don't believe me, read up on some of the detailing web sites, or go on Youtube..there are plenty of videos.

How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

I've been using it for a couple of years now periodically.  Mainly when I want to give the car a good wash in the winter months.  I'll take the car to the wash and pressure wash it, then bring it home and use the ONR in the garage to get the remaining layer of film off.  Seems to work great.

Sounds like it would be perfect for the airplane as there is no hose around there.

You've gotta be real careful about aluminium corrosion however.
If it flies, floats or f#%&s...rent it.

1oz per wash.  + Bottle 128 oz.    =  That jug would last a long time!
Whats the stuff cost?

You can get it in 8 oz bottles.  It's ~$14 for 32 oz.

ONR and QEW wash are great rinseless car wash products.  They can come in really handy for those that do not have access to an outdoor hose or are on water restrictions.  It also works great for wintertime washing, which is when I use it.
