^  I only purchase products from detailing shops so I'm actually not sure what's available in box store types of places.  But I'll tell you what, I'll send you a small portion of the sealant that I use that will be enough to do your vehicle.  Just PM me your address.    :)

Thanks for your offer.

May I clarify with you that I recall there is discussion in this post for specific sealant for light/dark paint.
Could you please show me some example? as I have both white and black (deep dark charcoal grey) car in my family.

Personally, I find that some waxes and sealants look better on different colours.  Regarding sealants only, (and keep in mind that this is just MY opinion only), I find that Poorboy's EX-P sealant looks great on lighter colours like silver, white, etc.  For darker colours, I much prefer Menzerna Power Lock or Zaino Z5.  Waxes are something entirely different, but if you want some suggestions with that as well just let me know.   :)

You want the best?  Leatherique.  http://leatheriquecanada.com/

I use Poorboys's stuff to maintain my leather after I give it a Leatherique treatment.  http://www.eshine.ca/poorboys_leather_stuff_16oz-1809.php

Let's see what Canuck recommends.

If you're looking for an inexpensive cleaner, conditioner, and protectant for your leather, I'd recommend Lexol's 3 in 1 product.
http://www.eshine.ca/lexol_premium_3_in_1_leather_care_16oz-3129.php?cat=23

It's twice as expensive as the Lexol , but IMHO is a better product and smells much better as well.
http://www.eshine.ca/poorboys_leather_stuff_16oz-1809.php?cat=23

This doesn't have any cleaning agents, but it's one of the best conditioners that I've used and it smells absolutely incredible!
http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=Z-10

But if you want to drop some extra coin, the best of the best is Leatherique (like rrocket mentioned).  If you really want to rejuvenate some old leather, this is the product that you need to buy......period!  Coincidentally enough, I am planning on applying both Leatherique products to the S2000 tomorrow so I can post up some before and after pics.  This stuff is worth every penny.......providing you don't mind spending that much.

http://www.eshine.ca/leatherique_rejuvenator_oil_16oz-3121.php?cat=23

There are lots of other great quality leather products out there, and you really couldn't go wrong with most any of them on eshine.  These are just a couple of my personal preferences.  :)

The BEST way to do the Leatherique is to do the first step with HOT seats.  Leave in sun all day, then do step in.  It opens the "pores".  I put my seats in my Sauna!!

Nah..leave it in the sun ALL DAY!!  Some people remove seats and heat them with spot lights.

Here's my write up.

I receive quite a bit of PMs from members asking various questions about detailing.  These PMs contain lots of great questions, and questions that I think other members might want to know some information on as well.  So here's what I'd like to do, assuming that it's ok with the members.  When someone sends me a PM with a good question that I think that other's would benefit from, I'll post it here along with my reply.  The member that sent me the PM will be kept anonymous if he/she wants.  I guess my whole thought process is that with all of the great PMs that I receive, I think that other members might benefit from them as well.  And of course, anyone is free to post questions in this thread as well, along with PM'ing me directly.  :)

What's a good AIO product?

I'm looking for something that has some cutting power in addition to good polishing. Does anyone have any experience with Poorboy's Polish with Sealant?

I've not used the Poorboy's, but this worked really well for me:

Want to pick up a clay bar kit.
Haven't used clay before, so any recommendations for a noob?  Blue vs Yellow?
Thinking this blue kit:

http://www.eshine.ca/riccardo_clay_starter_kit_blue_mild_8oz-4016b.php?cat=27

Would use it on Crosstrek which has still has contaminants on surface you can see up close.  Once i get the hang of it, will use on my future Lamborghini.

I have not used Riccardo's clay but from what I hear Meguiar's & Mothers clay is just as good. I was actually going to purchase Riccardo's but then CT had a sale on their Mothers clay kit so I went with that.

I have used Meguiar's and it did very well...the only recommendation is to keep the surface being clayed very lubricated.

What I'd like to use is Iron-X (but it's sold out everywhere). People swear by it, and it makes claying a piece of cake.

I would like to apply Collinite 845 wax on my car. I have applied it before with hand but it is time consuming. Would this machine help in applying it even and save time? I have two cars to apply to, twice a year. Or, do you suggest any other DA? I am a newbie

Wen 10PMC 10-Inch Waxer/Polisher in Case with Extra Bonnets that is sold on amazon.ca (sorry cannot post a link as i am a new member)

Thank you

Shane,

My son waxed his new Jeep and he has the non-painted black wheel wells, he got some wax on them and there is now a white residue, what do you recommend for removing this?

thanks Eric
