Porsche Canada announces credit program

Mississauga, Ontario – Porsche Canada has announced its Canadian Currency Credit program, which will reduce vehicle prices depending on currency fluctuations. The factory-to-dealer credits are available on all 2010 Porsche models, as well as the new 2011 Boxster Spyder.

The credits are available to qualified retail customers through participating Porsche dealerships on cash, lease or finance transactions.

The credits for vehicles being delivered in April 2010 include $4,000 on Boxster models; $4,500 on Cayman models; between $6,000 and $9,000 on 911 models; between $2,500 and $8,000 on Cayenne models; and from $5,000 to $10,500 on Panamera models.

“Canadian Currency Credits address the cross-border price disparity caused by a strengthening Canadian dollar,” said Joe Lawrence, president and CEO of Porsche Canada. “In effect, the strong dollar has significantly reduced prices for Canadian Porsche buyers, despite ongoing improvements in equipment and technology on all our products.”

I think this promo will be very effective and boost Porsche sales in Canada to a new level.
Much better than low finacing rates or non-disclosed factory to dealer cash rebates.

Porsche getting real!

Not that I am in the market for a base 911...but US$77,800 vs CA$96,700 or $18,900 more. That is substantial!

Or for a base Boxster...US$47,600 vs CA$59,600 or $12,000 more.
