The Accent is rated as being only marginally more fuel efficient than the Elantra, despite having DI & being some 300 pounds lighter. The Elantra's efficiency numbers, however, don't seem to translate to real world driving: hopefully the Accent's numbers are more attainable.

I've seen one at a dealership. Nothing to write home about, but the interior is well organized, clean and not cheap looking, while to my surprise doors close with a pleasant "thump" and don't feel tin thin.  :)

I don't have trouble meeting if not beating NRCAN fuel ratings. Maybe I just drive with a lighter foot.
