Extra Brake Lights

My left 3rd brake light is out which is the one on my trunk I think. Are  extra brake lights like this something you could possibly get a ticket for?

A friend of mine got one.  He hadn't replaced the bulb as on his car it was very difficult to get to.  The police didn't stop him specifically for that offense, but instead for a minor speeding ticket, and wrote the other ticket as a nice "bonus."   ::)

You could.  I was stopped for busted light.  I was the only car on the road at the time and stood out like a sore thumb.

These days the police are hungier than ever to make their departments more money. Little things like that will get noticed more now.
