I often love that color.   :)

So you don't always like it?  Does that mean you sometimes hate it too?   :rofl2:

Lol, not sure exactly what I meant actually.  I mean, my first car was red and my husband's first car (we married young) was a cherry red-colored Honda CRX, which I loved!, and then my second car was red again.  So, obviously, it's a color I like.  :P  But they don't always look good...  And sometimes they can look bad.  Same with another color I love/sometimes don't - blue.  (I've had 3 blue cars now too.  :)  )

I don't recall the last time I saw a G35 in red...  but I wonder why, as it looks good on that bodystyle.

^ I would say an average job for me (paint alone) on a mid sized car like the G is approximately 10 hours.

What do you use?

I've been using Meguiar's products since the mid 90s; the professional stuff in the tan bottles. Since my paint is quite good, I use Swirl Remover, but I recently noticed Meguair's has an ultra-fine polish. I still use a conventional wax (Yellow #26).
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

A car has to do more than just perform; it has to stir your soul!

A true driver's car does not have cup holders.

^ I use a variety of everything (however no over the counter stuff).  Menzerna, Chemical Guys, Poorboys World, etc.  For paint correction, Menzerna is typically what I use the most.  For paint protection, I'll apply a good synthetic polymer sealant (Menzerna FMJ, Jetseal, etc) and then apply a Carnuba over top of it.  The sealant gives you durability for up to six months and the Carnuba will give that added depth and gloss.  You just have to wait 24 hours for the sealant to cure before you apply the Carnuba.  If you have any questions, just let me know.  :)

^ Thanks Jaeger!  I had it out last Saturday and went for the year's first top down cruise.  It got up to 18C here so there was no way I could just leave it in the garage!   ;D

I gave the S2K its spring detai over the weekend.  Paint correction wasn't too severe as it's stored in the garage over the winter months but it still certainly needed it.  I have many more before/after pics, but here's one for now.  The G35 (since it's my winter DD) is in DIRE need of a full detail.   :-[  I hope to tackle that this weekend or next.

If anyone in southern NB wants their vehicle professionally detailed, just let me know.   ;D

How long do you figure it would take to do a BMW 128i?  :D

Depends on the condition of your paint, however if it's nothing too serious I could probably do it in 8-10 hours or less.  If you want to make a trip up to the Saint John area I would be more than happy to detail your Bimmer.   :)
