2002 GMC Sierra SLT 5.3L V8 (2 wheel-drive)
« on: March 19, 2010, 10:55:45 pm »
Hi, I have been routing around the internet and I am having difficulty finding a written review on this particular vehicle and package.

Does anyone know of a link that will work, to find the specs and options and reliability on this unit?

Also, is there a GMC truck forum; there's got to be?

Thanks

Cars are super fun to waist $ on!

Thanks airbalancer.

Hey what's your opinion on this truck I found to buy perhaps; as stated in the subject line above? Price $8000 and apparently mint shape 2 owner vehicle and has trac-control/heated leather seats, posi rear end/matching topper and lockable.

Thanks and I guess I could ask the guys in the gm truck forums too!

 :)

A big thing is that it is 2WD. It's a nice (in a way) in that a used 4WD can be expensive trouble, especially if it was abused. But you will have to deal with traction issues, especially in the winter.

Other than that I always liked how GM pickups drove.

A couple of bags of sand it the back and a good set of tires will take care of the that
It will be getting about 16l/100km

It will help (I drive a 2WD, and I manage) but it's not the same. There's a reason 90% of new pickups sold now are 4WD.
