Took the winter's off yesterday. I keep them close by just in case. It takes about 30 minutes to change them out.

Doesn't the Quebec winter tire law says until March 15th, today?

Changed mine couple weeks back....but that was mostly to try and diagnose a rubbing problem with the winters. Now with the few flurries coming our way, I'll probably have to change back to winters as the tires that are on now are WELL worn.

Still too early even here in the Big Smoke. Forecast for the weekend is high of +4C, low of -2C. Since I only drive on weekends and will be away on vacation....it will wait until sometime in April.....forecast permitting.

Don't think Spring is here? Got bitten by a wasp today... :o

Winters are off the BMW, 19" summers back on.  ;D

Will leave the HL a bit more, just in case of a freak storm but not likely as we haven't had any snow in over a month. The HL winters are shot anyway, and will be trashed once off.

It was +18C here today in Northern Ontario........the weather network is calling for 20-30 cm of SNOW this weekend....I'll do the "smart" thing and keep my snows on until the end of April......this is Canada after all!

This coming weekend, I'm changing my winters to all seasons on my car. I rather put the wear and tear on the all seasons, little risk, hopefully no alloy killing salting of roads wil happen.

Probably on the April 1 weekend. It was 24 degrees yesterday if my car's temp gauge can be believed, that's probably not too good for the winter tires.

Called in sick this morning *cough* *cough*, changed back to all-seasons. It feels good to actually feel the road. I stayed with Good Year Assurance Triple Tread. Looks like I will be able to get another 1-2 years out of them and another year out of the Toyo winter tires. No expensive expenses this year.

When two of the following criteria occur:

1. The day after the street sweeper\vacuum removes the 6mm of sand off my street.
2. The long range forecast indicates a sustainable warming trend.
3. The second week of April.

Running the Icebears on the Volvo until May because they are toast. I have been hoooning a bit to see where these tires grip ends on dry/warm pavement. Lets just say they don't have a lot of grip and feel in spirited corners. Sliding the front end towards the guardrail lack of grip... :o ;D

Got about 4 inches on snow last night, been a while since I had to scrape the windshield in the morning. The snow on the drive way will melt by themselves in a day or two.

Too early to go summer tyres here. May Long Weekend usually arrive with a lot of snow.
