Our New 330i!
« on: February 15, 2010, 06:51:37 pm »
We picked this up last Saturday. Off-lease, CPO, never winter driven, Monaco Blue on Beige & Burl Walnut, premium pkg, 43kms! We sold our Protege5 to my dad's co worker...they bought it for their daughter.

On the 13th, we went to Detroit to get some Bridgestone LM-25 winters installed (HALF THE PRICE compared to Canada), and the OEM alarm installed at a BMW dealer ($400 less compared to Canada). The winters are installed on our existing rims...we're gonna look for nice summer rims.  ;D We got the windows tinted 35% also in London, $200 special.

Extremely stable on the curves, steering is tight & responsive (the best we have ever had), and the ride comfort is excellent, however, you can feel the extra harshness of the runflats.

Its also very very quiet on the highway, and acceleration with the 3.0L 255 HP six is effortless, although I wouldn't mind more torque (I guess thats what the 335i is for  ;D). I find myself driving 130-140 very easily, because the car doesn't feel stressed at all.

Fantastic!!  Never winter-driven, what a great find!

The 330i motor is terrific!

Monaco Blue.....   (I'm biased).  The paint looks superb btw.

Great choice!  I love it!
