The decision by Kia Motors to build its first North American vehicle manufacturing facility in West Point, Georgia was welcomed by a community hard hit by unemployment.  Over 43,000 applicants applied for the 2,400 jobs at the plant.

By the way, I believe it was 1998 (not 2008) when Hyundai took over Kia. It's the same time when GM took over Daewoo Motors, and Renault took over Samsung Motors.

You all notice that this New Plant is in a Southern USA State, with no Union allowed, this firm KIA is still owned by its Parent Hyundai, who for several years never did much for KIA.
In the EU countries they are advertising a Seven Year warranty on all KIA vehicles, what  about here in Canada eh?

I happen to like these Companies if they would produce vehicles here and not in the USA, so why should any Canadian buy a vehicle from KIA?
