Zoodles "new" 2006 HHR LS...
« on: January 15, 2010, 08:43:53 pm »
Hi All,

Thanks for your input regarding my recent HHR purchase. There was an LT with a 2.4L engine backed by a 5 speed that I would have liked but I could not turn down the deal I got on this 2006 LS with the 2.2L Eco-Tech backed by the auto. In 1500 kms so far it is averaging 8.7L/100km under a relatively heavy foot and with a few hundred pounds of medical equipment onboard. In short it is fulfilling its mission of being a pretty fuel efficient sales vehicle capable of carrying some bulky items.

Here are a couple of quick pics I took the other day:

It came with winters on it (although they will only last me this winter). I found a nice set of factory alloys on kijjiji which came with all seasons that have a couple of seasons left on them. This might give you an idea how the combo will look.

Nice car! And very clean too!

I don't think that tape will fix your puncture though.  :rofl2:

Inscribed with the magic runes that will bring back summer at some time right?

Left Front, Right Front      they cause they sun to rise and set

Left Rear and Right Rear     are the runes which cause pretty girls to wear skimpy clothes.

We know that magic works... just have to walk past the Uni in early fall and late spring.  ;D ;)

Nice car.

I think you should use duct tape instead of clear packaging tape to attach the second wheel to the first.   :)

Some of those cars in the background kind of look familiar. Wonder if we live near each other

Haven't seen that car no but the Ford, the VW and that green\blue-ish one on the road look familiar. This anywhere near Starwood Drive?

Congrats On the HHR. I always thought it was a nice alternative for a mini van. When I first saw one in that colour it didn't do anything for me but its grown on me.  I have no doubt the women will find you handy with that skilled use of the duct tape
