Will Buick Enclave have problem in getting into garage?

I'm interested in Enclave/Acadia/Traverse. But Enclave is more than 2 meters wide. The other 2 are more or less the same. I have a double garage with 2 doors. Can anybody owning them share your experience?

UHHH what size is the garage?  If you like these triplets how about a miniva? Big, wide vehicles with swing out doors don't mix well with tight spaces. If room is a concern I would say go Sienna AWD with the best minivan feature: sliding doors.

A measuring tape would solve the problem in about 10 minutes.  5 minutes at the garage and another 5 at the dealer to measure the width with the doors open and the height.

No substitute for experimental data

I have a single car garage (similar size to yours) and a 2006 Mazda MPV with the following van dimensions:

Wheelbase 111.8 in (2840 mm)
Length 189.5 in (4813 mm)
Width 72.1 in (1831 mm)
Height 69.1 in (1755 mm)

It is a snug fit....can only really open the driver's door the entire way if the van is parked closer to wall on the passenger side.  If parked the middle of the garage, it's OK but watch the door swinging out fully open.

Length wise if garage door is closed and the rear bumper is w/in 6", I have about 2' at the nose to get into the house.

It'll fit thru the door... don't Enclaves have power button for folding the mirrors too, or no? Depends how much junk you have at the rear of the garage in order to pull in fully. If a double garage, should be okay.

Test drive it back home and try it out.

Real experience is more important. I think my garage is standard and for sure the door is still wider than these vehicles, but you still need to drive into the garage. The data itself can't tell. I'm wondering whether I can drive them home during test drive.

My garage is deep inside and I don't worry about whether I can get out of the car. I'm just afraid of hitting the side mirrors when get in and out. Power folding side mirrors are not standard.

That's one heck of a nice vehicle, build a new garage  Just kidding, small doors are usually 8 feet(96inches) the Enclave is 79 inches wide, now the trick question does that include the mirrors?

Actually taking the Enclave home and trying it in the door is your best solution. Most dealerships would let you do this (I have done it). Second best is the tape measure that tpl speaks of. Hard for ppl on here to tell you accurately, just do it yourself.

No.  When one is in.  The OP says its a double garage so presumably if he enters the righthand door there will be plenty of room for the drivers door... but will it be possible to open the passenger door without having to park on the diagonal.

We were able to bring home all the vehicles we were looking at to see if they'd fit in our garage.  "2 car" garage (provided you don't want to get out of one of the cars!) and the Flex and Outlook both fit fine, but the tailgate wouldn't go up with the garage door shut.  The CX-9 fit and the tailgate does go up since the rear is more sloped.

Must be a fairly deep garage, but yeah typical 2 car is 20x20 or even 18x20 far too narrow for 2 cars and any sort of other equipment.

.... move to a larger GATED Enclave ...neighbour has ONE...but No garage so it sits Car Covered ,unused, in the DRIVE_A_WAY...like a hibernating Mammoth till the first CUCKOO appears........ ...time fer a TUSKERS....

A neighbour has an Enclave and they park it in the garage.  Not sure if it has power mirrors or not. 

As for a garage test drive, I test drove a Acura TL and parked it in my garage (with the salesman).  I then moved my 2 stage snowblower out, to ensure all will fit, and that the blower can exit thru the TLs garage door without having to move either the Odyssey or TL.   

Salesman said many customers do the garage fit on test drives, but it was the first time a prospective customer then navigated a snowblower behind it for fit.
