At the Nissan dealer today. They had a Nismo Altima of all things but no Nismo Z.
Nevertheless, a salesperson there was quite willing to toss me the keys to a 370Z with the sport package so I obliged him. My, my, lots of grunt and tight. Really low roof compared to an 8, even hit my head getting into the  little buggy.
After it I walked over to the other side of the building and took out a G37S M6 Coupe. In it, I felt all grown up, like I had to watch my manners and junk. Somehow 'that' does not appeal to me although it's a really nice package.

If that dealer has an Altima in Nismo flavour I would imagine they could be encouraged to order a 370 for you? The downside to an ordered car though is usually the loss of negotiating on price although you do get exactly what you want.

Spring is still a few cold, white weeks away - lots of time to order one and have it ready for the season. ::)

MOTORWEEK just tested a 370Z NISMO on yesterday's programme. Even they who rarely criticize anything cited the stiff ride as a downside. I can't imagine wanting to drive anything so stiff daily. Looks stunning, but the 'regular' model does too. And the price on the new Z is just as appealing.

The APA does not give a green light persay, it says the car has to be registered which means "used" not a Demo and if sold again to another party within six months of ownership then the warranty is void.

Yes.  At least it was a couple of years ago when my former boss bought his '05 Boxster.
