 ???

A nobel idea by GM to do something or in this case anything to justify their continued exhistance and/or relevance with the Volt and Cruze but perhaps I am dating myself here but I remember another attempt at mass producing an electric car complete with charging stations and I also recall seeing them all packed up on car carriers headed for the crusher some short years later (even all the hanky stompin Celeb former owners couldn't stop it)..... What has led GM to believe that it would work this time around?

As for the Cruze we shall see nice looking but the quality had better be there if GM has any hope of seeing any success vs. segment leaders/veterans like Honda, Toyota and dare I say it Hyundai!

Not being a licenced electrician I suppose I should feel guilty for wiring my own 240V outlet in my garage ( not for an EV)
Woe is me!

I agree.             What > amperage < is required?
