Welcome.

You getting the Camaro as a third vehicle to use in the non winter months?

And which motor?  Manual or auto?

Black is a great colour on that car.

morning articsteve
the cadi cts will go back off lease , was a fine car no issues to speak of with it over the four years lease 2.8 ltr standard 6 speed and yes balck also.
the camaro will sport the V6 engine , and also with the manual transmission and we will drive it in the winter .
we have  been looking at the camaro for some time and challenger, and mustang  and another cts, but after the test drive ( yes we found a test drive camaro lol ) decided on the camaro .
funny the hardest part with ordering the camaro was the colour  , i liked the orange and the yellow , no stripes, and the navey blue was also appealing as the dealer had a SS in the showroom in that colour , we decided on black as our last 3 GM products were black and all looked good in the colour , we also plan on a deep tinted windows.
now if we can only get winter over with !
thanks for the reply

Is one allowed to own a Toyota and a GM product at the same time?  How will you ever decide which side of the "debates" to be on? ;D

Anyhow, welcome to Canadiandriver.   Here's that Toronto F-Body club you were looking for.

ha ha ha
well yes good point blur911 ,  i used to be very passionate about who made the cars/trucks i drove , have never owned a ford in my life driven since i was 16 and em now 52 and retired , have owned a couple chrysler/dodge products and they will never see another penny from me or my co-driver ( also known as the Prettyone ) loved there designs poor dealer service and cheap over priced vehicles in my view .
i have owned many GM products first was at age 15 a 1969 Nova SS with the 396 ci engine, i was a apprentice mechanic lol and chief oil changer for my first job at co-op cabs in toronto . toyota has also been a fav of mine in the past to the point that GM lost a sale due to there unmoving price points at the time , i had owned a 1983 toyota 4x4 pick sr5 and went strait back to toyota when GM did not want to play thats when the loyality started to wane , i have also owned a nissan (datsun) 240z which i traded on a 1983 toyota supra which had to go due to my upcoming marriage to the prettyone, something about tune up costs.
not sure which was my favorite and i have not written all the different cars/trucks i have owned here , guess your first car is always got a soft spot, very much looking forward to the camaro and we are at the age where our kids are in university  or about to start it and are looking to having our time again , its the reason were looking for a auto club to join and become involved with , this camaro will be driven alot including winter

thanks for the welcome hope to talk again gentlemen
thanks for the link will look into that i appreciate it !

Welcome to the forum, it looks like you had a bunch of vehicles over the years that were better than the average. No Yugos, no Pacers!

Welcome!  :)

I think the new Camaro looks great, and the Tacoma is one of the best midsized trucks on the market.

You satisfied both the GM and Toyota fanbois of the forum.  ;)

Welcome to the forum. Diverse ownership history there.

Don't know of any Camaro clubs, but I'm sure they're out there.

The black is menacing and looks fantastic, but really dig the orange with white stripe myself. Are you waiting until April because that's when the CTS lease is up or is that the earliest the dealer says they'll get it?
AQUAMAN64 also posts on BDFD.com!

Hi Natski. I had the pleasure of a ride in my cousins Camero. First one in town. I tell ya, the looks we got. Anyway, on the back road, from 5 mph, 2 gears of rubber speed shifting and a chirp into 3rd, then the smell of the burnt rubber wafting into the cabin as we passed through 100 and whatever, it was like 1969 all over again. I think you may enjoy this little ride.
Good luck.

lol you have no idea how much i,m looking forward to it , our family cottage when i owned my 69 nove SS was in Wasaga Beach ,in the day the hot car hangout in ontario, and i remember the z28,s boss mustangs , real hemi chargers callengers ect ect and of course the 340 dusters a sweet little car , lol
those smells of burnt rubber and oil smell never leave the memory , the adrenalin rush of dropping the clutch on the back strait away of the circut around Wasaga Beach , ya good memories . in those days the opp would just stand there and enjoy the show unless it got out of hand then they would step in .
now that i,m a bit older not sure how many times i will drop the clutch in the camaro , maybe once without the prettyone in the car !
