Is that the most interesting thing he can say about these cars?  How terribly terribly boring....  What GM needs is some "cars guys" to run the show.

It's a midsize family sedan.  They're kind of supposed to be boring.

If he was talking about a next-gen CTS or Corvette in those terms, I'd be worried, but for a bland-as-bathwater midsize family sedan I think the talk is appropriate.

Maybe for North Americans, but when Ford Europe spoke about the new Mondeo they used phrases such as, "appeals to the person who is passionate about driving", "best-in-class driving dynamics", "extensive use of soft-touch textures generates a superior and refined atmosphere".

And hey, it's just a Mondeo...
