I owned 2 VW - Never again. I should have learned the first time. I can't tell you how many problems I had and how costly they were to fix them... not to mention the worst customer service ever.
Oh well, I suppose they look ok.
I had a VW, never gave me any problems, save for seeming to go through light bulbs more than most cars do. It is gone now, but that was because it ended up saving the life of my family and myself. Don't know how we would have fared in another vehicle. Yes, some of their vehicles have had a reputation for problems, but they do build a lot of decent ones as well. Just know what to buy, not really different than any other make. They all have their lemons and gems.
