Thanks for the great update (and to Flinter for your update).  I've had my pre-owned 330i for a year now and I've put on 22,000 km (I normally drive about 12,000) and have almost the same experiences with it.  Except for the torque (I have the normally aspirated N52 engine).  I've had a inline 6 since my 2004 325i and the sound it makes always puts a smile on my face  ;D

The 330i has such a great motor.  And no need to worry about twin-turbo reliability issues.

(1) I normally average 12,000 km a year.  I'm at 12,500 km at 6 months with this car.  That might say it all.

I hear you. I put 6,000 kms on my Civic last year: I've put 8,000 on the GTI in four months.

Great update! (But it would be even better with pics...  ;)  :) )

Yeah, I know.  But Bob (who doesn't live far from me) has kindly offered to do a photoshoot with our cars, and so those pics will be going up later.   ;D

Looking forward to seeing the results of Bob working his magic on you 335. He's got a good subject to work there. :)

I like this car, it makes squealy noises when you turn the DTC fully off, eh Vman?  :rofl2:

Power is how fast you hit the wall... Torque is how far you take the wall with you!

Funny - I heard similar sounds when you were drag racing that old fart in his Rav4  :rofl2:

 :shake:

A gorgeous car, Julie. I can't wait to take it on some corners to truly compare the flappy paddles to the manual I drove earlier this summer!

We'll need to meet at that place you mentioned, so we can take our cars for more of a spin.  But.....  after I've re-aquainted myself with a stick.  ;D

My rule when exchanging cars is simple: I'll never drive someone's car in a manner I wouldn't expect if they were driving mine......

Of course, this means you'll have to beat on it  :P

LOL, I agree.

A wonderful car, lovely creamy inline 6, my favourite type of engine, the best balanced.
