Such a waste of 4 BBS... I do hope they're replicas and you didn't just waste $3000 worth of rims..

You can paint 32 wheel rims with 500g of Luminophore. 1 kg costs only 250 euros, so I don't think that it's a waste of money.

That would be your opinion.  Hideous would be mine.

:iagree:  It will wash off with soap and water right? After all once the novelty wears off, and it will, what do you do? Toss the rims? What a waste.

I think they look cool. I wouldn't use them on an S class, but if the car already has a fart can, a park bench size spoiler and a chameleon paint job, then it is a hot addition. Well done d! Besides the car is more visible and thus safer at night.

Why stop at the rims? Why not paint the whole car?

Seriously, I think if you did it right, it might be kind of cool.  Maybe a ghostly flame job on the fenders, or even just racing stripes along the hood and roof. Oooooh... or imagine a glow-in-the-dark screaming chicken on the hood of an old Firebird.

Get creative! And post up some pics when you're done! :)

No thanks!

Sorry but, if I did that to my rims I'd also have to get a personalized licence plate that says "TACKY" or "I HAVE NO TASTE".

What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

A car has to do more than just perform; it has to stir your soul!

A true driver's car does not have cup holders.

If the novelty wears off then you can use any kind off remover and erase the paint.

Now the owner can look like a :censor: at night, as well as in the day.

Once impounded, you could always pick her up on this instead...

^^ I don't know that an MR-2 would be my first choice to use as a canvas, but I'll admit that it's kind of cool.

That paint job would be absolutely killer on an old Dodge van, though. Sort of a new-school version of this:

Anyone who rides their bicycle at night without lights should have their bicycle seized and then dipped in Luminophore.
