Rim swap, different lug nuts?
« on: December 09, 2009, 11:10:04 pm »
Hi i have an 07 torrent. I have the 17" original rims for my all seasons, and 16 steelies for my winters. This is the first year putting these winters on and i just wanted to know if i should use different lug nuts for the steelies, or is the oem lugs ok?

Thanks!

It depends.  On some wheels, the lugs have an angle on the bottom that matches the angle on the lug holes in the rim.  They seat right in there.

Generally on a steel rim, where the lug sits is flat.  Did you try the lugs? Do they seem to work ok?
