195/65/15 to 195/70/14 for winter?
« on: December 08, 2009, 12:45:00 pm »
Hi all

I'm shopping around for a winter tire package for a 2000 Honda Accord EX 4cyl. and by all accounts I should be able to downsize tires/rims from stock 195/65/15 to 195/70/14.  I would like to confirm this and would appreciate feedback.

Thanks

M

My info shows 15" as the smallest for that vehicle. 14" might hit the brakes, and I would test fit any wheel before buying.

My '99 Accord came stock with 195/70-14 wheels and tires so that size should have fit yours as well as I don't think that the brakes are bigger unless a V6 model.
