Acura Auxillary Mirror dash switch lighting

Does anyone know if the switches on the dash for the side view mirror controls for an 08 Acura TL are supposed to light up at night?  I've noticed that the mirror direction control button lights up but the mirror heat push button and left / right slider switch do not.  Just wondering if I may have a burnt out bulb or if it's a design over site by Acura.

It's the same on my '07  - - Mirror button lit and heater & slider switch not...
