What is happening,,,how do they present. In 50 years of driving I have never had a single problem with this aspect other than worn blade rubber.

Hmmm  Venture -> Pontiac     Therefore a Pontiac dealer would be a logical place with an ex-Pontiac dealer right in there as well.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Not knowing the nature of the problem a dealer may not be necessary.  Can Tire  have a pretty comprehensive range of complete blades that will fit on most wiper arms.
If it is an electrical problem or mechanical or if not handy then perhaps a dealer or garage is required.

Venture = Chevy
He probably talking about how on many Venture & Transport the blades will park beside the A pillar and not seating under the hood

If so the parking tab is worn down on the pivot, simple fix if not worn to badly.
