Looked at some more pics.

The center console itself isn't bad IMO.  In fact, you could agree it's simple, uncluttered.  Although the thickness of the plastic surrounding it is a bit too thick.  But the main thing I think is the placement of it - Why separate the vents and put them on top?  Why not integrate them?  Wish my BMW's nav screen was better integrated into the dash too, like the 5-series' or new X1's is.  But, like with my Bimmer, it wouldn't be a deal-breaker for me either, so again...

TopGun, doooooooooooo ittttttttttttttttttt....................

Love that shifter btw.

I'd love to get one of these cars for a summer second car. But no room for 2 here for me. I'd be torn between the V6 and V8 at this rate.

I dig those intake plenums!!!   Not diggin' the wheels though, those look like v6 cheesy wheels.

I got a GT500 (baseball cap) for Christmas!  It's Grabber Blue with white stripes too...right colour.
If it flies, floats or f#%&s...rent it.

No plastic engine cover!  Engine looks fantastic.

Pricing for 2011s are up on Ford.ca

For 23 grand you can have a 305 HP rear-drive with LSD and 6 speed manual that gets into the 13s in the quarter while enjoying CamCord like reliability.

It is awfully tempting just to go out and buy this thing, even if it means 6 months of sleeping on the couch.

That's a great price for a great car!  Are they still killing it with ridiculous finance rates?

The "Genesis Coupe" segment just got a new player.  Nice to see <$25K RWD performance coupes!!
No place I'd rather be...

Except here on Import Driver, the segment is actually dominated by the V6 Camaro. I really doubt that Ford worried about the Genesis at all when they redid the Mustang. Genesis Coupe has been a sales dud, while the Camaro has been nicely outselling the Mustang in the US.
As they have for over 40 years, they were gunning for the Camaro. If not for the Camaro, I doubt Ford would have put all the money into redoing the Mustang so soon.
Rumours have been around for ages of a big power increase for the V6 Camaro in 2011. I wonder what Chevy will come up with to compete?

Just wondering what constitutes "dominated".  In a couple of road tests between V6s, they picked the Genesis over the Camaro.....The Genesis was quicker to 60, the 1/4 mile, was lighter, turned in better, etc..

But if you mean by sales, then yea....I won't disagree.

I thought I saw tests in which either one won the comparisons. Keep in mind that the V6 Camaro is priced closer to the 4 cylinder Genesis then the V6. Gotta check US pricing to see how they compare down there.

But yes, I was talking sales.

Just checked.
In the US, the 304hp V6 Camaro lists 4 at $22,600USD, while the 210hp 4 cylinder Genesis runs at $22,000.

Wonder where the $2k difference comes from in Canada?
