Greetings,

I'm driving a Honda accord EX with 205/60/R16 tires.  I would like to know if I can fit P195/65/R15 winter tires mounted on steel rims on the Accord? The winter tires were previously on a Corolla

Thank you in advance.

The 195/65R15 are -2.74% than your stock 205/60R16....rule of thumb is 3% plus or minus max. The speedo will be reading 2.8% faster than actual(reads 61.6 mph....should be 60 mph).

Are you sure that the Corolla rims have the same bolt pattern, offset, etc. as the Honda Accord?

Thank you for the reply!

I have not looked at the rim pattern and offset carefully.  Will examine more closely.

Much appreciated.

1. 03+ Corollas have 5x100 bolt pattern (except 09+ XRS, which has 5x114.3), I believe your 06 Accord has 5x114.3?

2. Even if it is 5x100, Toyota wheels have smaller centre bores than Hondas anyway, unless you have a multi fit rim, the centre bore won't fit on the hub.

3. 15" may not clear the brake calipers anyway.

If your winter tires are still in great shape, just sell them, you should get a very good price for them.

Correct for the most part above, the bolt pattern is not correct, hub bore is too small, and they may not clear the brake. Also the tire may not be load rated properly for the Accord as well... Just not going to work, unfortunately.

Corolla rims will not fit a Honda Accord.  All I had to do was to go and measure.

Thank you all for your input.
