Hello

Acura Rdx came with Michelin Pilot Hx MXM 4 P235/55r18 all-season tires. Do You think I need a winter tire for Toronto winter or will these all season tires be good enough.  I just bought the truck 3 months ago- so not sure if I should switch or not.

Thanks in advance for you advice.

As long as you don't drive them on Ice or Snow you should be fine....lol
Seriously I would look at getting a good winter tire if you live in Toronto. Something like the Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1 is a popular choice. http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?tirebrand=Bridgestone&tiremodel=Blizzak+DM%2DV1

Most all-season tires are not very good for winter driving.  Add to that that even Michelin says they are only good for light snow and very mixed reviews which seem to get worse the further North the reviewer is.

See if you can go to 17" steelies and winter tires if you plan on keeping the car for more than a winter or two.

Those 18 inch "all season" (they are really 3 season) tires will suck in the snow. Plain and simple.

I agree with above. get some 17 inch steel wheels and some snows or leave it at home when the snow falls.

Assuming that Toronto is pretty flat and the tires are still brand new, you might get away with them the first season as long as the snow is light or streets are plowed.

On the other hand seeing how you can afford to buy an Acura, you should be able to afford a set of good winter tires and steel wheels.

IMO, all it takes is to avoid one mishap (even a minor one) in order to justify the expense of a set of winter tires.

Yep, $913 is cheaper than a $500 collision deductible and three years (more or less depends where you are) of increased insurance premiums.

Considering that Toronto isn't flat then winter tires will be needed.

How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?

Very good.  First snowstorm you will appreciate them and see the difference if this is your first winter with AWD and winter tires.
