Totally cool!
I've been thinking for some time how electric motorcycles will be a game changer.

Mavizen, the manufacturing arm of the TTXGP (the Time Trials Xtreme Grand Prix -- a race for zero-emissions motorcycles) has just announced the TTX02 at this year's SEMA. A shining example of "EVs as consumer electronics" (the buzz-concept going 'round the electric vehicle scene) this guy is being billed not as a bike, but as a development platform -- shipping not only with a chassis and drivetrain, but with an open source Linux OS, web server, USB-based system bus, and WiFi connectivity. If you're looking to give the gang from Mission Motors a run for their money at the next TTXGP, hit the read link -- about $41,000 will get you in the game

I believe they raced it at the Isle of Mann this year.  But a game changer?  At $41,000 USD it's hardly that.

down the road...I see electric motorcyles as becoming very popular. $41k is today's pricetag...

Yamaha already has a couple of electric "city bikes" that have been for sale in Japan a couple of years already.

Well its no more expensive than a Volt is supposed to be..however it actually exists which gives it a leg up for now .

But the Volt is a car, this is a bike and from what it looks it only fits one...

Anyway, it's great to have an Electric bike available, but what about the engine sound?

Wi-fi??? So I'll be able to access the internet while riding, GREAAATTTT, eheheheehhe.
