I rarely have anyone in the back seat and most of the time the car has only the driver in it. I bet that this is the case for the vast majority of car owners. Lower performance due to a heavy load can be tollerated on rare occasions surely.

How many of these "Cube's" is Nissan selling? I checked Nissan Canada's site and Nissan has a 5.9% interest rate on these "Cube's"!!??!!?? I haven only seen 3 on the road around the Halifax area since last summer so am i missing something? They don't seem to be very popular and Nissan's target customer is young families looking for reasonably priced/roomy transportation. Having a 5.9% interest rate isn't going to attract anyone in these financial times.

Kia has 2.9% on their "All-New" Soul which looks more "stylish" than the Cube, not that either would win a beauty contest Tongue A 2010 Kia Soul 2u with autotrans would be $420.18 for 60months while a mid level Cube SL would be $486.82... that's a $4000 difference!! Not exactly "closely" priced due to Nissan's high finance rate. I'm sorry to say, but Nissan salesmen would have to be willing to do some crazy negotiating to gain customers.

WAKE UP NISSAN!!

It's not a high volume seller for Nissan never was planned to be, it is a niche vehicle to be different.

I have seen about twice as many Soul as Cube   in Guelph.  We have a local dealer of each brand.

I've seen more Cube's around than Soul's, but then that might just be because they are easier to spot.
