Hi there

Debating betw Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow ?? OR Yokohama Geolandar I/T G072?? Whichever one it's.. it'll be mounted on the 18" OEM rims, 235/55/18...

Had great experience from Pirelli Winter Sport 190 on my old sedan(1.6EL), that's the reason I've picked the Pirelli.. the Yoko was recommended by a friend...

Looking for something w/ good tractions on both ice & snow... and the less road noise the better...

Any info'd be greatly appreciated.....

Both are good tires. I would tend to lean toward the Pirelli on bare cold pavement (wet or dry), packed snow and slush, and it should definately feel better around corners and during braking. The Yokohama will perform better in deep snow and perhaps on ice if you do a lot of rural driving but will not be as nice a city/highway tire as the Pirelli. I do believe the Pirelli is the way to go for most people, and is cheaper to boot.  Smiley

Thx Nathan for the in-depth response... I'll go with the Pirelli's...
