Decent size dent in my front bumper (right/passenger side)

Hey folks,

I have a decent dent on the front bumper of my X-Trail. A friend told me that it can be fixed my using a broom stick and simply push it back out. He suggested that I might want to use a blow dryer to heat it up a bit... Any suggestions?

Does this work? Guess it can't hurt to try..

Be careful. In the bumper are the sensors for your airbags, I believe. Don't hit them. 

You likely can push it out or apply a little outside heat and then coax it from underneath.

There are some scuffs, too. Will ask about covering those up in my next post!

Mission accomplished! Got almost all of the dent out...

Now, how can I get rid of the scuffs/scratches on the plastic? 

Sand paper then paint it over?

If the cover is cut olr gouged you will have to fill, sand and paint. If scuffed you can try a polishing cream and try buffing it out. It might take three or four applications but gently rub/buff and it could solve your problem.

Gouged? Not sure... have to look at it more carefully.. more of a deep scratch... there's about 3 or 4 of them... it's a silver car so you can now see black where the scratches are...
