I just hope they put a 6MT in this Sport wagon ... then maybe I'll be lured back into a honduh. More pics here on the euro accord tourer: http://www.vtec.net/news/news-item?news_item_id=860098 |

^ hahahahaha ^
If I owned a NA TSX I'd be looking really hard at importing the euro grill. It's amazing how much better it looks. |

I wonder what engine(s) it will get? How about that nice diesel you have Honda. |

How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?

Very good move I think. It may not be a giant hit right away but I think this type of vehicle is going to become more appealing and its a good looking vehicle. No matter what the grille looks like. The TSX may be the best looking of the bunch with that grille actually. |

Where are my crystal balls... no, sorry, no diesel. I read a great article another day explaining why diesels are not common place in NA. It came down to having to make heavier and sturdier engine (extra cost) with more elaborate than even in Europe exhaust system in order to meet US emission standards. Many car makers have crunched the numbers and concluded it simply is not worth it. A direct injected 4 cyl would be welcome tho. And the car looks stunning, on par with a Caddy Wagon and sportier IMO than current NA Accord of any shape. |

Shame that the second-gen TSX is not actually very pleasant to drive and, overall, uncompetitive in its segment. It'd take more than a chunk of extra cargo room to redeem that car in my eyes.
(For what it's worth, I loved the first-gen TSX and nearly bought one). |

Find the rear of this wagon looks rather... odd. But, I'm pro on any new sport wagon entires!
EDIT: Looked at the photos again and it's pretty slick. Rear more attractive than I remembered. Looking forward to it. Nice replacement for the loss of the Legacy Wagon. |

Finally! I can't wait to get more details. I'm hoping they offer it with the 2.4L so that it's affordable, but that is very unlikely.
Another question, why are only 'premium' carmakers offering wagons? VW, Volvo, Audi, Saab, M-B, BMW... they all offer great wagons. Only Hyundai offers an affordable wagon with the Elantra Touring. Yes, Subaru also offers the Outback, but it isn't very affordable at $29k+. It's still good value for its AWD and content, but it's too big of a jump in price for someone who is considering a decently-equipped 4-cylinder mid-size sedan.
Someone should make a splash and sell an affordable wagon version of their mid-size. |

The VW Jetta SportWagen starts at $23,475, and while not "mid-sized" by 2009 terms, it's about as roomy for passengers as a previous-generation Legacy wagon. |

I did a quick Google and as far as I had time to search, the average price of cars in Canada is in the 28K reagion. Now I don't know if that is a tax inclusive figure but if it is then the Outback is right on the button as is the Jetta. |

Well, I put the VW's in the premium pile...
I suppose what I meant to say is that amongst the mainstream/reliable/cheap brands, there's only the Elantra Touring... I wish Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai/Kia, Ford or GM would offer a wagon variant of their mid-size sedans... or that Mazda would bring back the 6 wagon.
Or maybe Suzuki could bring a Kizashi wagon. With 4x4, that could be an incredible vehicle! |

I was thinking that earlier, and wishing that when gm brings the opel insignia to canada as the regal, that they could also offer the sport tourer...although that's likely much bigger than you were talking about... |
