Ben Spies capped off an AMAZING rooking season in World Superbike by winning the championship! This is such a spectacular outcome it almost defies belief. This is a WSBK rookie racing on strange tracks and on a strange motorcycle. In the process he set a lap record en route to his record shattering 11th pole of the season (11 poles out of 14 races!)
This is as spectacular as a motorsport season could be. He's moving to GP next year. Will be interesting to see how he does against Rossi.
