The old tires aren't ideal, and might even be a bad idea (compare the load ratings), so I'd leave them on the old rims and sell the lot. Probably an easier sale that way, too.
I'd then buy a new set of rims with the proper size winter tires for the car. You can go with either steel or aluminum. Steel is cheaper and easier to fix if you hit a curb, but aluminum is (usually) lighter and looks better.
I've had a set of aluminum rims on my Civic for seven winters now. They still look good and hold air fine, but you might not be as lucky with all the salt they use back east.
