Delivery date was September 25th.. I was waiting for nicer weather to take photos outdoors in sunlight, but I don't think I will see that day when the car's clean enough. So here are some shots in my condo's parking garage taken on the delivery date.  I haven't been able to embed photos successfully in the past.. but I'll give it one more try:

Beautiful! My friend just got a 2009 Altima 4 cylinder. Fully loaded (leather, sunroof, 17" wheels and rims) except navigation ($2500... crazy... Tomtom's are $150). He got his in gray.

Thanks, I thought about the SL package with the moonroof and leather, but I didn't want to pay $3,100 for moonroof since I am not a fan of leather seats.
I've already put on 1,800km on it and it hasn't even been three weeks. AND I don't use the car for commuting.
Great car for the price, but I would like less engine noise on my next car. Maybe it's the CVT, but the the noise isn't very pleasant when starting off the lights. I've been in my friend's 08 Accord I4 and its 'noise' was nicer to my ears. |

You'll get accustomed to that sound after a while, I must admit it was odd at first when I got my SL. Now when I drive a traditional tranny in one of our fleet cars I find it odd, especially on kick down when passing or cars that can't make up their minds of what gear they want to be in  The CVT is nice on the pocket book, I average 8.0 and that's on my daily trek to work, for those who know the 417 speeds vary between 120-140. Congrats on a great purchase, this car is now rated right at the top by CR. Mine has been trouble free for 44000km to date. I hope you got one with Michelins, I'm not crazy about the Continentals myself. |

I don't think I can agree on more maintenance for cleaning, drop a bit of coffee on cloth and you'll curse, on leather wipe, done. As for the V6, oh that sweet sound of the VQ. The suspension is stiffer on that car, the ride is not for everyone. |

How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?

I'm planning to apply the 3M scotchguard fabric protector to repel some of the potential spills/stains. But I like how the fabric seats hold me in place much better than the leather seats. I love the sound of the VQ, too. I'll have to test drive the V6 when I get a chance. |

I've been using 3M Scotchgard on my fabric seats since new. It needs to be re-applied every 3 years. They still look pretty good 11 years later. |

 I'm not sure if there is a dealer out there who tells truth and nothing but truth... Can you do us a favour and breath in from one of the tires? When I got mine done, the tinter told me you must have a minimum of 35% light entering the front windows. The rear can go as low as 5%. Usual tint shades are 35%, 20% and 5%.
I got 35% on the front and 20% on all rear windows. Makes a difference with headlights and sunlight in the summer. No regrets with tinting.
I just met up with my friend who moved to Red Deer, AB, he just got a 2009 Altima, loaded with everything but V6 and Navi. He loves it. I confirmed he got heated seats, heated side mirriors. Block heater was no charge from the dealer.
He says the CVT is quiet and butter-smooth. Better than a 4 speed automatic. He said he gets about 800km on a full tank.
