C'mon...don't be a hater!  Weren't you the one who thought the sport seats in your sports car felt a bit too sporty??   Poke     Grin

Ya...I should just throw in the towel...even though no one came back with an argument against my "removing two interfaces" argument.

Mazda should have made the RX-8's side bolsters more aggressive instead of some cop-out, half-a**ed attempt at "sport"...kinda like a flappy-paddle auto.   Grin

If it eases your mind any, can assure you the wiring harness explanation is completely plausible.

I don't fully comprehend all the reasons why Canadian cars are packaged so differently, but they often are. In a few cases, it's for the better (the Forester example, or VW these days - except for the pricing of course) but most of the time we're envious of what's available elsewhere. Grass is always greener.

At least your Lexus dealer experience was exemplary. Enjoy the HS 250h, over the long haul it should serve you well!
