Hi guys, just wanted to present my new car. Got it last friday, is a pre-owned Ford Focus GLX 07/08 with 26500 km on the odo. It has a 1.6L flex fuel engine. Unfortunately couldn't find a model with airbags (yes, airbags are still optional in most cars in Brazil, sadly). Just drove it home and left it there, waiting to be ensured.

What is that clear plastic tank (coolant?) on the left and why does it have two different liquids in it?

It's the reservoir for the engine coolant. The green is the coolant, the red is oxide, eheheheh. I am going to replace it and perform a flush thru the engine to clean it up.

Love them taillights.

Gonna try to paint the turn signal in red too. I've seen some painted, looks even nicer.

Congrats, Wolverine!!  Nice find, very clean inside and out. And the engine bay is very clean.
Have fun!

Took me 2 weeks to find this one, the price was just right. To bad the former owner lost the manual and the 2nd key. Told the guys at the dealer to contact him and tell him to order these from Ford.

nice

Congrats!  Beer

Thx guys. Makes me cry every time I think of what I could have bought with the money spent on this one if I where in Canada or US. Better not think about it.

Congrats on the Focus.  It is almost a twin to my 4 door SE, though mine's an auto.

Would love to have an AT again but it's only available with 2.0 Duratec engine, which fuel consumption would kill me, plus it's not flex fuel. Not 'cause is a thirsty engine, is because our crappy fuel. We now have the Euro Focus available and it will get a 2.0 Flex engine this year, hope to get it in 3 years or so, eheheheeh.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Got my focus in 2003 and as of yesterday I have 405,372.6 kms on it's orgingal engine and passed the e-test. Does not burn any oil. I do an oil change every 5k. Maybe I just lucky on this one.

Holy cow, that's a lot of road. Congrats. Ford of Brazil recommends to perform an oil change every 6 months, no matter the mileage.

AHhahaahaha. Was talking to my friends at work about the name I gave to the topic, told them I was picturing the white smoke coming out and the bishop coming out the vatican's balcony saying to the public: "Yo, habemus Focus, wolvie finally bought one, lets all celebrate" ahahhahaahahah.

I love that you blacked out the license plate numbers, even though you're over there and we're over here and could never track you down...

Congrats on the new ride.  Always a nice feeling to own a new set of wheels.   Thumbs up

Not a scooter, is a Yamaha YBR Factor, 125cc. These 125cc bikes are pretty common here.

I know it looks weird, it's that I posted these same pics on a local car forum.

Thx Brig.  Cheesy
