hey fellow TL'er... i have to agree with you... winter 2008 in vancouver with stock michelins
was complete FAIL.  However, this winter I went 1 size down to 16" with the general altimax arctics.

I slapped on 16" steel wheels instead of alloys ...the one thing that I learnt about this is that the OEM honda/acura lugnuts are 'ball' shaped whereas steelies require 'conical' lugnuts...so for those of you who are doing the 'steelie thing'.. dont use your OEM honda/acura lugs.

Yes. Allthough about 97% of the time, new hardware is required when changing into aftermarket wheels anyway.
